海寶寺

根據明朝萬曆年間的方誌資料記載，大夏國王赫連勃勃（西元407～427年）曾經重修海寶塔，這麼算起來海寶寺至少有1600多年的歷史。

海寶塔是海寶寺的主要建築之一，塔身雖然呈方形，但是四壁出軒，每層四面各設有券門，而且都略為向外突出，構成特別的十二角形塔身。海寶塔的獨特建築風格，為中國古塔所罕見。

賀蘭山岩畫

賀蘭山岩畫以北邊的賀蘭口岩畫最具代表性，賀蘭口位於銀川西北50多公里，賀蘭山中段的賀蘭縣金山鄉境內，海拔1448米。大約有一千多幅岩畫分佈在山口兩側大約600多公尺的山岩石壁上。畫面粗獷渾厚，構圖樸實，姿態自然寫實。以人首像為主的占總數一半以上。其次是馬、牛、鹿、鳥、狼……等動物圖形。

拜寺口雙塔

現在拜寺口僅存兩座佛塔，以及散佈各地的大大小小建築地基。這兩座塔一東一西。距離八十多公尺，造型大同小異，同樣精美華麗。兩座塔都是八角形十三層的密簷塔，高度大約45公尺，每一層都用琉璃瓦與彩繪裝飾、色彩相當豐富，每一層每一面都有小佛龕，佛龕兩邊則是很少見的奇特啣珠獸面裝飾，以及日、月、雲、火焰寶珠圖案。

滾鐘口

滾鐘口不算大的範圍裡同時存在著道教、佛教、伊斯蘭教的寺院，但是各種民族、宗教之間相處融洽和諧，幾乎沒有爭端。最特別的是觀音寺跟清真寺竟然背對背比鄰而居，兩座不同宗教的寺院只有一牆之隔。西夏時期，曾經在山溝北部建造了規模龐大的避暑宮苑。現在這片建築遺址上還能看到二十多處建築基礎，散落的磚、瓦、器物殘片俯拾即是。

西夏王陵

一望無際的沙漠中發現了一個又一個金字塔形的高大黃土建築。每個較大的黃土建築周圍都環繞著方形的城牆等建築。不久之後，他們終於肯定這些雄偉的建築正是西夏皇家陵墓。沉睡了千年之久的西夏王國，終於再次甦醒！最後在方圓53平方公里的陵區內，發現了九座帝陵，253 座陪葬墓，是中國現存規模最大、地面遺址最完整的帝王陵園之一。

鎮北堡西部影城

這裏利用古堡原有的奇特、雄渾、蒼涼、殘舊的景象，突顯黃土地的原始、民間風貌，盡可能保留了它特殊的景觀，讓影視人在西部風光中盡情發揮他們的創造力。中國著名導演張藝謀的電影《紅高梁》就是在這裡拍攝，當它獲得第38屆柏林國際影展《金熊獎》的時候，西部影城同樣名聲大噪。在這裏攝製的電影、電視片之多，竄起的明星之多，獲得國際、國內大獎之多，成為中國各地影城之冠。

黃沙古渡

黃沙古渡擁有特殊的地形；不同於一般黃河岸邊翠綠的灌溉區域，它是毛烏素沙漠與黃河的交界，沙丘直達黃河岸邊。站在沙丘上遠眺對岸（黃河西岸）的翠綠樹林、農田，與一河之隔的黃沙遍野與一座座高低起伏的沙丘成為明顯的對比。正是因為這種特別的地形，黃沙古渡已經被開發成別具一格的生態旅遊區。

鳴翠湖公園

鳴翠湖國家濕地公園是黃河古道東移鄂爾多斯臺地西緣之後的遺跡，位於銀川市東部，距市區9公里，總面積約10,000多畝，其中濕地8000畝（湖面4200畝），綠化及其它用地2000多畝；集河流、湖泊、沼澤、灌溉管道等景觀於一體，自然生態體系完整，湖中有自然植物109種，是荒漠化濕地中相當特別的生態區。

水洞溝遺址

1920年代，德國傳教士肖特曾經在水洞溝東邊的黃土沖積層中發現了一個披毛犀的頭骨和一件石英石器。根據這個資料，1923年，法國古生物學家桑志華和德日進在水洞溝進行了第一次發掘。這次發掘面積80多平方公尺，發現了300多公斤的石器和「混合著碎骨、碳屑的痕跡」，以及13種第四紀哺乳動物化石。終結了「中國沒有舊石器時代文化」這個錯誤判斷。

明長城遺址

明朝的東長城又稱「河東牆」，建於明朝成化八年（西元1472年），又稱為「東大邊」、「橫城大邊」。西起橫城以北一公里、黃河岸邊的黃沙嘴，往東經過水洞溝、紅山堡、清水營，過鹽池縣到陝西定邊縣鹽場堡，全長約400公里，每隔150公尺建一個墩台。長城高三丈，寬兩丈，牆頂路面非常寬闊，可行駛馬車。駐守的士兵常年在長城頂上往來，軍事物資也在長城上運輸。

紅山堡藏兵洞

從紅山堡裡面僅可容一人通過的地洞，沿著石板鋪設的斜坡而下，大約十多公尺之後豁然開朗，來到藏兵洞的第一個大廳。複雜而龐大的地道從這裡開始左彎右轉，四通八達，大房間接著小房間，上層連接下層，真看不出這個地道系統藏有多少玄機，更不知自己身在何處、該向哪個方向走。就像個變幻莫測的地下迷宮。

納家戶大寺

納家戶有一座寧夏歷史悠久、規模較大的清真寺；納家戶清真大寺占地三十多畝，是一座傳統的漢式建築寺院。寺院呈長方形，門樓、禮拜大殿、廂房、沐浴堂環繞周圍組成院落，形成典型的中國古代四合院建築格局。門樓的高臺上為三層重簷式建築，稱“望月樓”，高21公尺，是穆斯林齋月時登此樓眺望新月所用；而南北兩側的兩座三層四角攢尖頂的建築，才是真正的「邦克樓」，是過去每道禮拜時刻，敲梆子呼喚附近穆斯林前來禮拜時所用。佈局嚴謹、規整，展現大寺的雄壯氣勢。

回鄉文化園

文化園的建設包括基礎設施、回族博物院、禮儀大殿、回族商貿街、回鄉人家五大主要工程。目前已經部份完成並開放參觀，回鄉文化園的建築完全採用中東阿拉伯式建築，包括主體大門、聖潔廣場、禮儀大殿……別具一番風情，尤其是模仿「泰姬陵」形式建造的大門更是雄偉華麗，映襯著藍天白雲，以及廣場上的大型噴水池充滿了異國情調。
