銀川，是旅遊者不得不去的一個地方！

從青藏高原奔流而下的黃河，則蜿蜒在銀川的東側，龐大的流量灌溉了這一片土地，孕育了銀川這一片黃沙漫漫之間的翠綠沃土。位於銀川東邊、黃河之濱的「黃沙古渡」，自從魏晉南北朝以來，就是中國西北橫渡黃河的重要渡口，今天已經開發成黃河原生態旅遊景區。位於黃河東側的「水洞溝」更是國際考古學界知名的中國舊石器時代遺址，中國的舊石器時代研究就從這裡展開。水洞溝附近的明長城、明朝屯堡，更以規模龐大、錯綜複雜、機關遍佈的地下堡壘—「藏兵洞」，吸引了觀光客的注意。黃河古渡口、舊石器時代遺址、明朝藏兵洞……這一系列的黃河文化構成了銀川東線旅遊的主軸。

除了東西兩線的深厚歷史文化之外，壯麗的自然風貌與淳樸的回鄉風情，也是銀川豐富的旅遊資源之一，閱海公園、愛伊河、鳴翠湖公園……大片的溼地，使得銀川芳草遍地，綠樹成蔭，成為茫茫大漠裡的塞上江南。

銀川南面的納家戶這是著名的回鄉，從元朝開始就是回民的聚居地，距今已有四百多年歷史的納家戶清真大寺更是回民的信仰中心；附近的回鄉文化園建築華麗，收藏了許多珍貴的回族文物，是體驗回鄉風情的最佳去處。此外銀川北邊還有著名的鎮北堡「西部影城」，許多著名的電影在這裏拍攝，如周星馳主演的「大話西遊」、張藝謀的成名作「紅高粱」等。
