貨幣（幣制、銀行）

人民幣分為100元紙幣，50元紙幣，20元紙幣，10元紙幣，5元紙幣，1元紙幣，5毛錢紙幣，1毛錢紙幣，5分錢紙幣，1分錢紙幣。1元以及1元以下面額同時也有硬幣。

在銀行，或是住宿的四、五星級旅店大廳櫃檯大多可以兌換貨幣。不過還是以銀行兌換比較保險而且不吃虧。

如果行程包括好幾個地區或城市，可以在抵達第一個城市之後，拿台胞證到銀行開戶，中國的銀行戶頭大多數只有卡而沒有存摺，這張卡就可以在ATM取款機取款。身上只要攜帶小部分現金，不夠的時候再提款，比較安全。中、大型城市的ATM機器大部分都有「銀聯」標誌，有這種標誌的提款機都可以跨行提款。

中國銀行、中國工商銀行、中國建設銀行、中國農業銀行是四個分支機構最普遍的銀行，絕大多數城市都有分行或是營業廳。

通訊（電話，上網）

只要你的手機開通了漫遊服務，在中國也可以漫遊。如果停留的時間比較長，或是通話的量比較大，建議購買一個當地的預付費電話號碼。中國的手機服務是雙向收費的。神州行的通話費是每分鐘6毛人民幣（大約3塊新台幣），發短信一則1毛錢，收簡訊免費（發送簡訊到台灣是一則一塊錢人民幣）。神州行的SIM卡以及充值卡，在機場、車站、通訊商場都能買到。

中國的電信業務是以省為單位的，北京的手機到了河北，就算漫遊。漫遊的通話費相當貴。打國際長途電話，或是本地長途電話，某些神州行號碼可以先撥「17951」（IP電話）再按正常方式撥號，通話費可以節省大約三分之一。

如果您買的神州行號碼不能撥打國際電話，你也可以買一張IP電話卡。按電話卡的說明撥打國際電話或長途電話。

成都的許多咖啡館，都提供免費的無線上網服務。大多數旅館也有上網服務，收費與否視不同旅館而定。

電壓

中國的電壓是220伏特。手機充電器，筆記型電腦充電器等等，都應該要能支持220伏特的電壓。

小費

一般餐廳，旅店，計程車都沒有給小費的習慣。除了某些國際連鎖的五星級飯店。
