城市規劃展覽館

上海城市規劃展示館於2000年初落成，2000年2月正式對外開放。以“城市、人、環境、發展”為展示的主題，展示上海城市規劃建設發展的歷史與成就。此外還舉辦過申辦世博會展覽、“上海的明天更美好”重大工程規劃方案展、俄羅斯繪畫三百年畫展、達利畫展、F1知識展、法國阿爾卑斯濱海省藝術精品展、畢加索作品展……等。

上海城市規劃展示館占地面積4,000平方公尺，建築面積 20,670平方公尺，建築高度43.3公尺，從底層大廳至四樓展廳可供展示的面積為7,000平方公尺，並擁有一百多公尺長的市民休閒街。

展館大樓造型從中國傳統城門獲得設計靈感，以中心對稱的結構呼應中國傳統美學思維，與現代設計概念在同一建築上表現出和諧美感，頂部象徵盛開的上海市花—白玉蘭，網絡狀的結構讓建築與藍天、白雲融為一體。這座晶瑩剔透的建築獲得了2000年中國家建築最高榮譽“魯班獎”。
